Community Support Program

Initiated in 2026, the Community Support Program (CSP) fund recognizes the important contribution made by community organizations. This program is designed to support community organizations to enhance their ability to deliver programs and initiatives that benefit Crossfield residents.

Funding Available
Approximately $10,000 is available annually through the Community Support Program, with requests of up to $3,500 per project eligible for consideration.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must be a registered non-profit organization, registered charity or recognized community group providing programs or services that demonstrate direct benefit to Crossfield residents. Applicants must also be in good standing with the Town of Crossfield and provide financial information and supporting documentation as part of the application.

What Can Be Supported?
Projects and programs that align with one or more of the Town's Community Funding Priorities:

• Community Connection and Inclusion
• Healthy Living and Wellbeing
• Youth and Family Development
• Accessibility, Support, and Community Safety
 • Community Partnerships, Arts, and Culture

Examples of eligible projects may include community events, youth initiatives, recreation programs, arts and cultural activities, wellness programs, volunteer development and other projects that contribute to the wellbeing of Crossfield residents.

Application Opening: June 1
Application Deadline: August 31
Council Consideration: During annual budget deliberations

In-Kind Support
The program also recognizes opportunities for in-kind municipal support, such as promotional assistance, operational support, equipment use and other forms of non-financial assistance where municipal capacity allows.
