How to pay your tax bill

Taxes are due in full on or before June 28, 2024. 

Late payments will result in penalties being applied.

Payment Options

Mail: 

 Cheque or money order (do not mail cash) payable to: Town of Crossfield,  Box 500,  Crossfield, AB, T0M 0S0

Payments submitted by mail must be clearly post marked by Canada Post before or on June 28, 2024.

 In Person:

 Administration Office,  1005 Ross Street, 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m. 

Cash, cheque or direct debit are accepted.  You can mail or drop off a post-dated cheque dated June 28, 2024.

The last day to pay in person is June 28, 2024 (before 4:30 p.m.)

Online Banking:  Check with your financial institution.

*The Tax Instalment Payment Plan (TIPP): This option is available to all property owners. This program offers monthly payments throughout the year without any penalties being applied, with full payment completed by December 31. (*Some conditions apply)

Tax Instalment Payment Plan

The Town of Crossfield offers a Tax Instalment Payment Plan. This program allows you to make monthly payments and avoid late payment penalties on your taxes.

You may apply to the Town to join this program, provided as of the date of application the following can be met:

  1. You do not owe taxes from any previous year pertaining to the property which is the subject of the application, and
  2. You do not currently pay taxes through a mortgage company.

If you wish to join the TIPPS program, please contact the Town Administration Office for more information.

Request a Tax Certificate

Tax Certificates are available upon request. The fee for a Tax certificate is $43.00. Forward your request to the Town Administration Office or fax to (403) 946-4523. Payments accepted include; cash, cheque, debit, Visa or Mastercard.*

*Payments made with a credit card are subject to service fees.
